About Us
We are three UCLA students in an Imagineering course who were given three weeks to imagine, create, and curate a virtual museum experience.
Not one of us had prior coding knowledge.
In the current COVID-19 crisis, museums are closed, and learning is evolving. So, despite the sleepless nights, frantic zoom calls, and extensive YouTube tutorials, we welcomed this opportunity to offer an engaging educational experience for anyone who always wanted to wander through their own bodies.
Enjoy Anatomica.
Kris Savathasuk, Architecture
Kris Savathasuk is an architecture student about to graduate from UCLA. He enjoys learning new things, which is why he has a background in concept art, product design, urban planning, architecture, and now themed entertainment. He aspires to become a professional, working with an amazing team like this one to create wonderful experiences within narrative storytelling.
Nadeen Maida, English
Nadeen Maida is an English Major with a Creative Writing Concentration. She has always enjoyed traversing through wondrous lands, real or imagined, in the pages of a book. For work, she co-owns a beef jerky company, named SB Craft Jerky. When Nadeen graduates in a few weeks, she hopes to combine her business prowess and story-telling intellect, working in Themed Entertainment and ultimately pursuing a Creative Producer role.
Nicole Kuntjoro, Bio-engineering
Nicole Kuntjoro is a fourth year bioengineering student interested in program management and creative production. This project marks her first foray into game development and experience design (with zero Unity knowledge). Throughout her experiences during her time at UCLA, she developed a passion for working with talented, multi-disciplinary teams to form creative and innovative products to help others thrive and bring smiles to their faces. She will be moving to Seattle for a full-time position in program management, where she hopes to grow and work towards her ultimate goal of becoming involved in creative production for non-profits or museums to both entertain and make a difference.
Special Thanks to:
Graham Wing, Computer Science
Graham Wing is a senior computer science major who contributed to the development of the Unity platform for The Anatomica. He has not been enrolled in the Themed Entertainment class, nor did he possess previous Unity experience, but loves to learn new skills and create experiences for others that are fun and engaging. He hopes to continue to learn and grow in a software development job in the future!
